Men’s Soccer Announces 2018 Spring Schedule

AMHERST, Mass.The University of Massachusetts Men's Soccer team has announced a five-game spring schedule that will begin with a road contest against Boston University on March 23 before hosting Southern Connecticut in their first home match of the spring on April 7. The Minutemen will play two games on the road and three at Rudd Field.
The 2017 Atlantic 10 Regular Season and Tournament Champions continue their spring schedule with two more home matches as they are scheduled to take on AIC on April 11 at 7 p.m. on Rudd Field before wrapping up their home slate against Holy Cross on April 14 at 4 p.m. The spring season will wrap up with the fifth and final match on the road against Siena on April 21 at 3:30 p.m.
UMass wrapped up the 2017 season as the first team since 1991 to win the A-10 title outright in the regular season to go along with a tournament championship as they secured their first bid to the NCAA Tournament since 2008. The Minutemen return Third-Team All-American Davis Smith and A-10 All-Conference honorees Brandon Merklin and Konrad Gorich from a team that posted a 15-4-3 record with one of their best seasons ever on their home grass with a 10-2-1 mark at Rudd Field.
